Natural landscapes: where the river meets the lake

WINTER SUNRISE, ROUGE RIVER AND LAKE ONTARIO

Could I have visited this spot, on the outskirts of Toronto (Canada’s largest city) at any better time? Probably not. Got a great sunrise, a nice skirting of ice along the shoulder of the river and floating ice in the water. Perfect! Nikon D50, tripod.
