Rural landscapes: church in the mist

ST. HENRY’S CHURCH, TWIN BUTTE, ALBERTA

This historic Roman Catholic parish, completed in 1908, has a spectacular setting in the rolling prairies near the Canadian Rocky Mountains of Waterton Lake National Park. I’ve photographed it several times; this occasion may be the most evocative. Nikon D90, tripod.
