Natural landscapes: contrast of light & shadow

WINTER MORNING, KANANASKIS COUNTRY, ALBERTA, CANADA

I don’t know the name of this gloriously lit peak, but the contrast between it and the shadowed, snowy landscape was too good to resist. The trees on the left serve as a strong secondary point of interest. Nikon D7100, tripod, polarizing filter, graduated density (darkening) filter on the top half.
