Natural landscapes: the clouds of evening

APPROACHING SUNSET AT WATERTON LAKES NATIONAL PARK, ALBERTA

Just before entering the mountain environment of this park in western Canada, you can tour through gorgeous rolling prairies where buffalo roam. I found this spot to capture evening clouds; wish the water was still, but that’s a rarity in what must be one of the windiest national parks in Canada.  Nikon D7100, tripod, polarizing filter, possibly a graduated density filter on the sky.
